Why Ziseta exists
A note from the hotel that built it.
Building a booking page used to be the hard part of selling rooms direct. It is not any more. With today's AI tools, an independent hotelier can put a booking page on their own site in a matter of days: rooms, rates, a calendar, a card form. It works, it costs almost nothing to run, and it is theirs.
Getting that page in front of guests is now the hard part. On Google, the hotel's own link — the free booking link marked as the official site, and the paid slots beside it — comes through Google Hotel Ads, and Hotel Ads takes a hotel's prices only from a connectivity partner. Google no longer opens Hotel Center accounts to individual hotels. A hotel with its own booking page cannot hand Google its prices itself; someone has to carry them.
Almost every partner willing to carry them asks for something in return: use our booking engine, or at least let us own the landing page. It is not hard to see why. A partner that serves hundreds of hotels would have to map hundreds of landing pages, each built differently, and keep every one of them accurate. A price that differs between the feed and the page is a fault Google holds against the partner, and a partner's Hotel Center account carries every hotel on it. Owning the landing page is how partners keep that risk in hand. It is understandable — and it takes back the very independence the hotelier has just built.
Ziseta was born in that gap. We run a château hotel in Normandy that sells its rooms on its own booking page, and we went through this ourselves. So we built the connection the way we wanted it to work, and decided to open it to others.
The idea is plain. You push your own rate-plan feed, from your own system, in the shape Google's specification asks for. You configure your own landing pages, one per language if you like, and map your own parameters. We carry the feed to Google and to the other metasearch engines, run the checks Google would run, and tell you before Google does. Everything else stays yours: the site, the guest, the accounts that pay for the clicks, and the freedom to leave.
Ziseta was made for independent hoteliers in the same situation, who see it the same way. We hope you will join us: put your hotel on the list, and we will write to you when the connection opens.
